Fights where 15 rounds would have made a drastic difference

what are some fights that could have been significantly changed if they were 15 rounds instead of 12. try to make it a 'for sure' type of change, not 'maybe if this fighter had 15 rounds....' sort of thing.
Also, point out fights in the opposite light...where if the fight was 12 rounds instead of 15, it would have definitely made a huge difference.

Chavez vs Taylor I-There would have been 0 controversy in the fight, because theres no way Taylor would have made it another 3 rounds.

Leonard vs Hearns I-If this fight was 12 rounds instead of 15, Leonard would have lost a wide decision of about 118-110 or 117-111 at best.

Too much punishment for the fighters in the long run. 12 rounds gives us enough entertainment without having the fighters fight completely to death.

**** lol! I thought I'd got in there.

For some reason I had the memory of Leonard winning in the 10th.

Almost all fights that have gone to teh decision, 15 rounds would have made a difference.

I laugh when people talk about how good training is for athletes now because of the equipment, supplements, etc, so todays fighters must be in better shape (LOL!)

Yet i see fighters getting tired in 6 rounds of 12 round fights (at the elite level, too) but back in the day, guys fought the 15th round like it was the 1st! We're not talking about low output fights either.. Watch HolyField/Qawi 1 for instance! these dudes went to hell and back for 15! Wonder what compubox would've had their punch totals to!

It's most difficult. Fighters will expend their energy differently if the fight is scheduled for 15 rather than 12. For example if Chavez-Taylor was a 15-rounder I'm sure Taylor would have paced himself a little better. It's clear, if you just choose to view the question by putting another 3 rounds on top of the 12 that's already been fought, that Taylor would have been stopped in the next round.

Qawi-Holyfield 1 was ridiculous. almost just as ridiculous as Pryor-Arguello.

speaking of which, I dont remember my scorecard at the time of the stoppage, but I think I would have had Arguello winning that fight if it ended after round 12.
