Shouldn't a Great jabber be able to Handle a Jab?

Fans still talk about Oscar's so called great jab?! What I recall is Ike Quartey, Felix Sturm, Mayweather jabbing the sh-t out of Oscar. I would think a great jabber would know how 2 neutralize a jab?

Shane went life and death with Oscar cause he has no jab, Manny dominated Oscar with no jab at all, perhaps he was indeed weak and dehydrated. Cant remember if Nard used a jab or not, lost that fight.

surely if you have two jabbers jabbing each other there's going to be a jabber who looks like he's getting out jabbed?

My logic makes sense cause I'm talking about a jab, not all that other **** u talking about. The great trainers mention how a good jabber can land & defend it. Floyd takes away the jab, Oscar doesn't.

The logic doesn't really apply; countless fights can be referenced - could Morrison handle a left hook?

In fact, that was what made Ruddock vs. Morrison so interesting; awesome left-hook vs. the smash.

Just because you jab well doesn't mean you handle 1 well.

You're talking offense and defense here. Not all punchers are great defenders....get it?

ANYONE can be neutralized with a jab as long as its successful. It's the staple punch in boxing.

Maybe some of ya'll dont understand boxing but how often has Winky been out jabbed? Great jabbers dont let opponents out jab or beat them with a jab. Oscar's jab is overrated.

shouldn't a great puncher be able to take a great punch?

                  in short, no.

Winky is a defensive fighter, De La Hoya was an offensive fighter. Winky's shell stopped the jabs, De La Hoya relied on his head movement and picked them off with his gloves, which are not as reliable as the shell.

Kind of like saying a great knockout artist can't get knocked out, it happens eventually.
