I think Chavez Jr. makes sence for Foreman, for Cotto if he were to win I would prefer to see him in something more meaningful as I don't think Foreman is a soft touch.

I do like the matchup, but i do think arum is jumping the gun and the whole matchup possibility. I think the matchup of jcc jr and duddy is not a sure win for chavez, and cotto foreman is not a sure win for cotto. Being a cotto fan, this is a tough matchup for cotto, regardless of foreman not having the ko's on his record, he is a natural jr middle and not neccessarily has pop against natural jr middles he did beat the crap out of and rocked santos. As cotto taking a jr middle weights punch we will see saturday.
For me being a cotto fan and also being mexican, i hope cotto sticks to his guns and never fights margocheato again. Cotto has stated before that margo will not earn a dime off him again. To be honest the man should have been banned from boxing, imo....

but if the fight should happen i mean cotto vs jc i hope it would be a co headliner with pac vs whomever at the cowboy stadium in nov. 6 or 13...would love to see that here in Dallas.

Jr. is not getting past Duddy, this is one of those times this promotional cronyism in boxing where they try and hand a belt to someone because they think he will draw will not work.

JCC jr. is just not good enough for this scheme to work, I know several AM fighters personally who are much much better fighters than him and would bet plenty on this site could claim the same thing..

Why the hell do ppl think that Cotto HAS TO fight Margarito? I just don't understand, Cotto has openly said, multiple times, that he will not fight that piece of **** again. That fight will not happen, get that out of your head please.

he doesn't have to,i think he knows he'll lose,like he lost to manny,if i were a boxer and suspected someone cheated against me,i'd be mad and want revenge and kick his a$$,but i think cotto knows he'll never beat him,he has trouble with punchers,(manny,clottey),strong guys,thats why he'll never face him,he knows that he cant beat him,why do you think he's facing someone without power?

Chavez Jr could hire Emmanuel Steward, Floyd Sr, Freddie Roach and Nacho to all be in his corner and I STILL wouldn't give him a shot at making past to the 6th round against Cotto. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if Michael Jennings outboxed Chavez Jr. His level of skill is equivalent to Matthew Hatton's...

Anyone who knows me here knows I'm not the type to hate a boxer, but Chavez Jr f**kin sucks...This had better be hype, similar to what Bob Arum always does with his other fighters.
