lol, people are always saying that Chavez Jr should 'man up' and fight better competition, but when it happens they ridicule the fight happening.

Although I seriously doubt Chavez Jr. will amount to anything in the boxing world, stranger things have happened. Hes only 24, and sometimes thats about when fighters mature. If Chavez Jr is being trained by Roach, that could help too.

I really wouldnt mind this fight that much, really.

Arum is a hell of the chess player! There is little doubt that he is always two steps ahead on everymove. The ring is the chess board and the fighters his pawns, and he is always planning what's the next fight (within his stable of fighters).

Chavez is not a bum... he just has a name that is marketable amoung the feeble minded mexican fans. If Tito Trinidad, or Wilfredo Gomez would have a kid.... in Puerto Rico we would demand for him to show is skills before licking his balls and throwing money on him.

Chavez would get murder the moment he steps into the ring with any A level junior weleter weight, B/B+ Middleweight or B-/C+ Super middleweight. The kid is just a side show and he lacks heart.... why? becuase he is a premadonna that has had everythign handed to him in the gym and the ring.

Honestly, Chavez Jr is 1 of the most pathetic boxers I've ever seen in my life. I know Julio Sr. is ashamed of him. I know he is happy his son is having some success in life so that sense he should be proud but lets be real...... Chavez was an All Time Great, and his son if a ****ing Bum.

Why the hell do ppl think that Cotto HAS TO fight Margarito? I just don't understand, Cotto has openly said, multiple times, that he will not fight that piece of **** again. That fight will not happen, get that out of your head please.

yeah Margarito doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as Cotto. but i want Cotto to get revenge on both him and Pacquiao. Cotto has only lost against loaded gloves and steroids.

Yeah neither do I but cotto has a great chance because although Yuri is so much bigger he's not exactly a physical fighter either. Chavez is a little bigger than foreman plus Freddie is finally gonna get Junior away from that terriable face first blood and guts style he was being taught by his former trainers. Junior is a good Boxer but a slugger like his dad he is not.
