From my sources...team Ortiz is working on a Maidana rematch for mid to late August or a match up with Joan Guzman if they can't get Maidana...That's the only open fight for him with a ligitimate 140 pounder...

he could fight presscott, to get in line to fight khan, but he should be aiming for the guy that made him quit for true redemption.

That's great, he really needs that fight mentally, and I think he'd win. Julio Diaz would be a decent fight for anyone at 140 also.

GBP isn't gonna let that happen right now. They still need some time to make money off of these guys. I think a Maidana rematch will make the most sense, because that's really the only way to rebuild Ortiz. He'll forever be known for pulling a Duran until he avenges that loss in impressive fashion.

I could also see a fight between him and Mike Alvarado happening. They both beat up Clottey's brother lol

I think GBP will put Ortiz back in with Maidana, because he's better equipped to handle him than Khan is. they will then probably match Khan with Bradley, Ortiz with alexander, and hope that Khav v Ortiz will face off to unify all the belts on a GBP mega fight.

You get the whole picture that other fools can't see...it's all about rebuilding fighters and a business plan they have to follow

I don't agree with that last part. Putting Ortiz in there with Alexander would be ****** on GBP's part. They'd put him in there with Bradley if anything, because he's smaller and lighter punching, even though he's more versatile than Devon. They'd probably pair Khan with Alexander before Ortiz, because he can match him in size and strength (actually he's bigger and stronger than Alexander).

I think your right about that Earl. The best chance for a all GBP fight is certainly Bradley vs Khan and Alexander vs Ortiz, and that's may be the course GBP will try to take. By the end of the year, I could honestly see the GBP fighters having a reasonable chance, not saying I'd favor them.
