While I agree with that, he has to take responsibility in holding it. I don't really like belts but if a boxer used it as leverage in say negotiations then he should shoulder all the responsibilities that goes along with it ( paying the sanctioning fees, facing mandatories, defending it inside a specific time period, etc... ). Otherwise, the body in charge of the belt has every right to give it to someone else.
Shane last fight was Jan 2009 and the Floyd fight in not a championship fight, so I'm not that outraged I guess.
I don't care that Mosley was stripped. He lost and he didn't deserve to keep the belt, but Senchecko sure as hell didn't deserve it. At least make him fight for a vacant title.

Hmm. Didn't know that he didn't fight for it. Then that is ****ty. The least they could do it make the top contenders fight for it.
