Let's keep it in perspective, please.
    That's Oscar De La Hoya...

Whitaker Chavez.... and then Joshua Clottey?

Are you serious? I am keeping it in perspetive.

And it wasn't that agressivly promoted, they weren't there for the superbowl, they weren't there for the NBA all star game.

Commercials on the east coast were few and far between.

May-Mosley, I saw commercials every single day.

Nike dovetailed the launch of pac's clothing line with the fight promotion. There were billboards and lamppost flags all over cali (Cali dudes, verify). And the week of the fight, there was a Nike event at the Kodak Theatre.

it surely sounds like the fight is gonna be made. honestly the reason the fight didnt happen last time is because it seems like no1 was ready for it to happen. it seems like us fans will be obliged afterall. idc who tlks **** about who, as long as these two meet in the ring.

Ok, that's one state, and I am telling you over here, the promotion WASN'T that big, and certainly wasn't as big as May-Mosley.

May Mosley was on every single NBA Playoffs game.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that there was a regionally-intensive marketing campaign behind that fight. Most of the marketing dollars were spent in the Southwest and PacNW where there are high Filipino populations.

Las Vegas and los Angeles...but also Bay Area and Seattle.

Of the crowd at Texas Stadium, what % would you say were of Filipino or Asian descent?

Yeah, you've been repeating yourself. The marketing over there might have been high... over here, it wasn't.

May-Mosley was marketed nationally, everywhere.. during every single NBA playoff game.

I am telling you right now, the promotions for May-Mosley crushed the promotions of Pac-Clottey.

700k with Joshua Clottey is impressive, end of.

                    Reed, calmate.

You are not taking into account the cultural affinities. On the basis of the penetration within the Filipino population alone, you can expect all Pac fights to do at least 500K going forward.

Contrary to popular perception, the Philippines is not a small country, and the population in the US is substantial. They buy all things Pac, as there is probably no greater athlete/fanbase connection in sports.

How i gauge successes is the ability for a fight (or fighter) to cross over and touch multiple demographics.

I think you forgot your Four P's, primo. Not sure which school you went to. End of.
