I would respect him even more because i believe the purse should be split down the middle 50/50. Also Im guessing hes what hes actually going to be taking from his purse split is smaller then mayweathers because arum ir rumoured to be recieving anywhere from 15-30 percent of Manny purses. While floyd probably gives GBP about 5% of his purse.

Purse splits is ****ing up boxing. Its pathetic that we miss out on some great fights because of ego trips. MMA as a sport may not be appealing, however, their business model is much greater than boxing. **** individual negotiations for each fight, **** promoters that shelter their fighters, **** all this bull**** that denies the fans of the fights we want.

But if we care about fighters, we should want competing promoters. I know that i want my guys to do well and to be comfortable after they retire.

It is amazing how little those MMA guys make. Granted, they make more money than boxers AWAY from the sport. But Dana & Co really shaft their athletes.

If Manny agrees and fights Floyd I'll respect him more than I do right now, period. The guy is a legend. Hes a for sure Hall of Famer. I just wouldnt want his career being tarnished with people questioning if he was clean or not.

Why should fans care?

My favorite fighter of all time is Tito. I only know how much money Tito got for the Oscar fight. And, that is cuz right after the fight he asked Oscar if he was worth the 10mil. I don't know how much the split was for that fight and I don't care. I don't know and care how much money or the split was for the rest of his fights. And, I have had convo's with other Tito fans who don't know and don't care.

Because, a fan should not care. They should just want to see the fight no matter how it gets made. Would you lose respect for Floyd if he took less than 50%? If so why/
