^your absolutely right! no one will pay to see a guy who will obviously demolish and school all the competition. I bought this fight even though I knew floyd would win logically but I thought gatti had that one punch chance to spoil him, and also I had to pay to watch the skill of floyd. HE is the new breed he is like a boxing technician he said it himself their are fighters that can match him with speed, and pack more punch but none are smarter then him he adapts in the ring. I am gonna say this Floyd is actually a more well rounded boxer then ray leonard.

This is what gets you PPV

You have to be well known in the mainstream and these are the followin ingrediants.

PERSONALITY and IMAGE dela hoya and leonard had it

        Invincibility Tyson had that image

Ko power and flamboyance prince naseem and hector camacho.

Floyd has all those except he doesnt have that one punch power like Tyson, Floyd said it himself he is so good that no one wants to watch him so he has to play the villian so people pay to see if someone can beat him or knock him out.

Well I can only speak for myself, but it is always more exciting for me watching a live event where I don't already know the outcome before watching. Also, Floyd is the best boxer in the world, if he fights 3 times a year, all on PPV, that comes out to $150, or $12.50 a month. I don't mind paying $12.50 a month to watch the best boxer in the world every time he fights.

hbo isn't just for floyd, there's tons of boxing on that channel. So really it comes down to the monthly basis of how much boxing there is compared to the flat fee of whatever amount it is.

The beauty of boxing is you never know when the end will come, unless your a cheap ass who waits for the replay.
