I mean , he started in boxing getting paid how much.

Yes he has gone to ppls backyards , but that exactly is what hurts him.

Now he gets a title shot , for a quarter mil, Against a quality opponent , plus bragging rights , plus , if he was to beat Gamboa ( which I really doubt) But if he was to beat him , HIS BIGGEST DREAM WOULD HAVE COME TRUE , LOPEZ!!!!!!!!! I mean , is he doin heroin or something.

U just dont do that , specially when biased fans like Iceta are the ones defending u.

Good pay day , ttitle shot against Gamboa , Bragging rights , THE TITLE , LOPEZ SHOWDOWN , EVEN CLOSER!!!

U dont turn those things down , specially since hes been running his mouth for so long

Did you read the article? HBO told DiBella that Top Rank told HBO they didn't want the fight. They didn't even negotiate.

What is so hard to understand about this?

I am a fan and many others on here are as well.

I'm a fan too, but he's gotta take short money before he can start asking for big money.

He's been taking short money everywhere for years and slaying people.

He's the one on the p4p list not the other guy.

too bad the other guy has more fame / has been better promoted than cabs. cabs need the other guy, the other guy don't need cabs. so cabs should take short money.

What irritates me is they didn't even negotiate.

They just told HBO they didn't want the fight.

Honestly I didnt read I was going by what people were saying , but anyways , he still doesnt bring anything to the table , Boxers have dreams aspirations , and I doubt that shutting down a very awkward , weak , slow , and sloppy boxer like Cab isnt one of them.

Another way of not wanting a fight would be the guy with the dates or power to lowball you, And most of this offer dont even get to the fighter before it gets rejected, Arum is a smart guy he knows how to play the boxing public and reassure them when it comes to his fighters. Fact is if they want the fight they wouldnt have offered Caba a lower offer than they are prepared to offer Rojas.
