      floyd knows he is hated but i don't think he cares...he's not doing anything to perk up his reputation. he likes to play the villain role because it brings him more money. time will come that floyd will be remembered as a great fighter...but something negative will always be added to that description.

            This is absolutely true...I even saw an interview with Ellerbe where he admitted that half of people who watches Floyd fight doesn't even like him.

              i gotta admit i member of that group although it was just for a bit of banter and a laugh. i dont actually hate floyd, i respect him and like to watch him box and i never write **** about him on here

                To me thats what is so brilliant and why floyd is the bigger draw. Fight fans and manny fans buy his fights to see him win or to see a KO. in addition to floyd fans and fight fans floyd gets haters to buy his fights to see him lose. I'd bet het gets an additional 100k buys just from haters.

                  Exactly. It's more exciting and easier to hype a matchup between a "hero vs. villain" concept.

                    Also floyd has been pimpin the 24/7 thing for all its worth. I hope Manny follows the ODH and floyd model of promoting themselves. Hes good enough to do it and would get paid. His only problem is Bob is killing his credibility with all the different reasons for not testing
