Comments Thread For: Albert Sosnowski Knows The Boxing World is Against Him

By Keith Idec - He doesn’t understand English, but Albert Sosnowski knows what boxing fans and media members are saying about him in the United States, where he suffered a dubious defeat less than two years ago, and in England, where the Polish-born boxer lives.

The consensus is that this obscure heavyweight contender has absolutely no chance of upsetting Vitali Klitschko today in their 12-round fight for Klitschko’s WBC title in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Several Internet sports books have listed Sosnowski as the 21st century’s Buster Douglas, a 40-1 underdog against the 6-foot-7, 247-pound Klitschko, who has dominated four opponents since resuming his injury-ravaged career in October 2008. Sosnowski looks the part of a heavyweight champ but we'll see if he can become it.

he's alright but very limited in level of opposition.I've watched his last 5 fights & he's improved.I don't hold the zuri loss against him because zuri is a solid pro who has upset better guys....the Arthur cook loss is what's alarming....yes it was long ago but still it is what it is.he beat pianeta in my eyes & a win over Williams was good.vidoz is nothing special but still a European name....a great physique doesn't beat vitali klitschko, talent does...good luck albert...you'll need it!

I'm not sure that I believe that he'll really give an honest effort. Most people go into fights with a Klitschko thinking they've seen a hole or have an advantage. After a few minutes they realize that they're actually in for a beatdown and behave accordingly. But props to him if he does give a good effort, that will make for a good fight.

This guy is in shape and he's coming to win or die trying. I'm ordering this ****, he's going to give us a fight. I'm excited to see Vitali in the ring with a guy that's trying to really ****, he will CRUSH.

I'm not against him, I have respect for any HW that gets in his kind of shape these days. Just don't think he has much of a chance, but anything can happen, and Vitali is going to be 39 in less than two months.
