i think povetkin's team know he isn't ready for the fight. they want to wait a while - this drug testing thing is their way of putting the fight off without looking scared. both camps already go through some sort of drug testing as it is. who really cares anyway? no one cares about wlad vs povetkin. we want to see wlad vs haye or wlad vs arreola or adamek. povetkin doesn't excite anyone at all. lets get a fight HBO will pick up.

i think this is different. povetkin has less than 20 pro fights. wladimir is a seasoned champion. povetkin needs a bit longer with teddy to really get how ever good he is going to get. doesn't matter though, cause wlad will spark him regardless. i don't care about this fight and neither should anyone else. i wouldnt mind seeing wlad put valuev out either.

And its a cop knowing its not mandated " yet " , champ or chump the public deserve the best PED testing available , its swept under the carpet untill somebody specifically asks for it , I wonder if the guys betting big money on boxing ever think about were they cheated out of their last losing bet , they test the **** out of racehorses but cant test boxers dont make sense to me .

the first thing i care about is seeing the best fights out there.....the last is giving a **** about grammar and spelling..

because in most horse races, the horse on steroids will win.

how ever in boxing, 9 times out of 10 steroids don't make a difference in the outcome of the fight. would mosley have had any chance against mayweather regardless of how much steroids he was on? no. styles make fights, and wladimirs wins aren't wins from steroid usage. they are wins from being skilled, smart, and dominant.

i do agree olympic style drug testing should be involved in every major fight though. but i don't think steroids make such a difference here as they do in say, the NFL, where you cant weigh 300 lbs and be fast without roids.
