He's been calling Gatti a C+ fighter for weeks. Now he wants respect for beating on a C+ fighter? **** that. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

You have to give Mayweather his props. He delivered what he said. No matter who are you up against, c+ fighter or not, anytime you can make an opponent look that silly and turn him into a punch bag in the ring, you got to have some skills. Gatti's biggest weapon is turning the fight into a brawl and Mayweather completely neutralized that.

I don't care about Gatti being over the hill or paper champ, he is still a very dangerous fighter. More dangerous than pre DLH days. Gatti pre Ward I was living the high life and squandered away his career away, since he's cut back on the vices. He was game and focused and was clearly beat.

Yeah, Gatti's a bit hyped up by big fights he had in the past but doesnt mean the guy is a bum. Mayweather made it look that way. Mayweather was a bad fight for Gatti, he couldn't deal with speed back in the days, lost to Ivan Robinson twice and DLH. Mayweather exposed that ***** again.

Who in here thinks a Hatton and Gatti fight would be exciting and very close fight. I'm not saying it will happen, what do think the result would be.

I think Mayweather is the goods and will soundly beat Hatton, but Hatton is a younger guy and simply has more in the tank than Gatti. I'd love to see this fight and would likely even pay for the PPV.

mayweather said Gatti was a C fighter at best, but after beating a C fighter how do you expect to be ranked #1 on the p4p list? now if he beat an A fighter than he'd be #1.

gatti wasnt trying to brawl, you could see that he was trying to box because that was what mcgirt wanted him to do, which was a big mistake, you also heard RJJ and lampley saying "he isnt going to win boxing from a distance" if he brawled the fight would have been different(not saying he'd win)

To boxing experts Gatti was like a 7/1 underdog

To casual fans it was like 3/1

If Floyd can beat Zab he will be #1 hands down..

It's not true that Jones Jr's opponents were seen as bums after he beat him, they were seen as bums before he beat them. The guy picked his opponents very carefully and was a good businessman.
You clearly just don't like Roy Jones...
