The funny thing is MMA is not even young, it's been around for at least 20 years. It just didn't get popular till around 2004 or 2005.

It has already peaked since UFC 100 and will probably be unheard of in the next 5 years

Dana White's stance makes sence with what benefits him, plus he likes to stick it to Floyd. UFC is probably better capitilaized to do OST than boxing, it is also probably easier to accomplish considering how he controls fighters but at the low end of the sport (not UFC) I could understand OST hurting that.

****** and wrong! Sylvia left the ufc on his own terms after dominating top 3 heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira until getting choked out.


Sylvia was alot healthier against Mercer than he was against Couture.No serious back injures there.



This whole stance issue is a myth used by MMGAY fans to excuse the poor technique of their hero's striking.

Sylvia wasn't exactly popular in fact he was pretty much hated by everyone including Dana White so this whole he a hero **** is just ******. But you are missing the point about the Mercer Kimbo fight. Kimbo was a rudementery Mixed Martial Artist who had just as much training as Mercer did in fact Mercer had more traing and was better prepared for the fight due to his long boxing career. My point is even Kimbos half assed skills were able to dominate Mercers Boxing stance. He had no chance in hell against Kimbo and that more than proves that the Boxing stance doesn't work. And you act like a win or two somehow equals a successful career in Mixed Martial arts well there are plenty of Mixed martial artists that have a couple wins in pro boxing, does that mean they are successful boxers then?

It's called being realistic if it was affordable Im sure it would of already been in use by all the commissions and I would have no problem with that.
