I dont blame Wlad, At least we know his stance from the start. He didnt accept then back out then give 10 different excuses on why he will not accept..

In that case im sure Wlad would pick another opponent, Povetkin is not his best opposition

David Haye is his most popular opposition,but I don't even think he can beat Wlad.

Wlad needs to find a way to fight Povetkin or he will be stripped of one of his titles...It is a negotiation chip in Povetkin's favour perhaps,but probably only in negotiating a slightly higher purse split...even then it is no guarantee.

I think personally that Povetkin is not ready (as his trainer Teddy Atlas has implied before) and they are buying time until Atlas is confident in his fighter.The bad thing is,Povetkin isn't getting younger and can piss away a decent pay day....if he was ready,Atlas would have pushed for this fight....

Beyond that-if you have taken OST,in most casual people's minds,they will not be scrutinized in the future....I myself don't feel Wlad is on PED's,but who knows.Everyone is equal and just because someone is a "champ",doesn't eliminate any possibility.

Yea but this was seen coming that povetkin didnt want to fight Wlad yet....and OST is a known deal-breaker.

Now it will be fun to see what Povetkin does now since he has no choice, either lose his spot or fight anyway

You arent put through the court system in that case. That has to be done because what if they detain a real murder? they need to keep him detained until they charge him. Its a small price the innocent have to pay to make sure the real criminals are caught....you can only be proven guilty or innocent infront of a jury or judge.

I just wanna get away from NY and exprience a different type of country. Im sure ill be there one day, just to visit if not to live

Well,as far as court action-you could still be held in a cell. Like I said-it wouldn't be a reward for supposedly being innocent of a crime.The loss of freedom waiting in jail until you are proven innocent is less than stellar.

Australia is pretty cool.I have lived here for around 10 years.Though it is not a perfect country,it has a lot of good things about it.It is a safe place with a good sense of general community about it.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I guess the process runs something like this: Someone accuses you of a crime, the police officers do not have authority to arrest you unless there is a warrant for your arrest, which of course had to be signed by a judge or someone like that. Now, if there is no warrant, the police can pick you up for questioning and you may be detained for about 36 hours only unless a case is filed against you. When a case has been filed, the judge determines if there is probable cause. If there is no probable cause, as in the case of Pacquiao and Klitschko, the case is dismissed outright.

No am been serious! Why would they strip him because his opponent want drug testing? They cannot strip him on that basis.. And i like Haye but am not a vivid supporter of his or the HW division...Thats why i wish he gets KO if his next fight happens against A-fraud Harrison...Check out the other thread..
