TS, you are so wrong. Again, just go back & rewatch Mosley-Margarito 1st. There is no way that you can watch that fight and say that Mosley was so much different. He wasnt. The difference was that Margarito is not Mayweather.

Also, everyone are fools when they say Mosley went downhill after the 2nd. Even in the 1st 2 rounds Floyd looked in control. He won that 1st round despite what the haterz say and even if you think he lost, he looked easily the more shaper fighter. In round 2 Floyd won the round before the 2 punches and after the 2 punches. He just got hit with a good shot but people make it sound like Mosley put a beating on him in round 2. Thats BS. Floyd was winning that round until the shot, Shane then had a brief stint, and Floyd owned the final 30 seconds big.

Shane almost stopping Floyd is so overrated also. He hits Floyd with the clean shot but Floyd immediatly walks forward afteward. Then he hits Floyd wit the 2nd shot, Floyd is daze for a brief 2nd then immediatly starts firing off the ropes & walking forward again. He wasnt out of it. Again, he dominated the last 30 seconds. People act like he was an inch away from being stopped and that is a joke. Mosley at no point was in control of this fight. He didnt go downhill. Floyd was the man from the jump. Also, its funny how when Floyd does stuff in every fight then its the other guy faded or went downhill. How come you dont say that he just caught Floyd when he was cold & wasnt ready? Alot of Floyd's fights start off that way where he gets buzzed early & then adjust or warms up.

Then its funny listen to you make like 30 different excuses for Shane. Dude, Floyd had 1 fight in the last 2 & a half years yet he's not inactive? He had 2 fights in the last 3 years but he's not inactive? Come on now. Ishe Smith said Floyd trains non stop and had hardcore sparring just days before the fight but he wasnt overtrained? People need to stop hating. Again, go back & rewatch Mosley-Margarito and tell me that wasnt basically the same Shane

Shane Mosley, when he hurt and almost put down Mayweather with those 2 right hands, mustered up all of his strength. That was Mosley's only chance at winning that fight, not because of Mayweather's brilliance.

I challenge you to rewatch the first few rounds. Mosley came out very tense, for a number of reasons: he hadn't fought in like 600 days, he was overtrained, and weight drained because USADA tested him right before the weigh in. Rewatch the second round. After you ooh and ahh at Mosley's brilliant outburst, watch when he gets Mayweather flopping around on the ropes. Look at how weak those body shots are. Is that because Mayweather looked at him the wrong way? Mayweather did nothing that round, and towards the end, Mosley was completely done. Do you really think a well-prepared Mosley has that terrible conditioning? It's just not true.

So, please remember. I do agree that Mayweather looked really good after the second round but it was not an adjustment from Mayweather that gave him the advantage. It was Mosley's shortcomings in being overtrained, overtense, and completely drained even during the second round. Shane knew he was drained in the second round. That's why he rushed his money punch.
yeah I thought the same thing he should have at least took a tune up before getting in their with a guy in him prime like that, it seemed like he had nothing from the get go. I think he would have done better if he had just played b-ball and not even trained besides to make weight. He was already getting lit up in sparring, even his son was working him over lol

and what excuse does the writer have because cotto beat mosley or the late vernon forrest who beat mosley 4 times, 2 ameteur 2 pro, and winky beat him twice. mosley said after the fight floyds a true champion, the best. people will always find excuses why floyd wins fights. for goodness sake give floyd credit for once, the man can make great fighters look ameteur.

come on man, floyd mayweather might be the biggest ******* in boxing but for people to discredit his win over mosley is bull****. he beat shane mosley and he beat him good, give him the credit he deserves and just because somebody doesnt agree with you doesnt mean they are ignorant or have no common sense.

Now I understand what Floyd says about always being in a no win situation. Before the fight they say "Why not fight Shane" and "You're scared of Shane" and then he dominates Mosley winning 11 out of 12 rounds and its still not good enough.

If that had been Pacquiao dominating Mosley then Boxingscene would have gone crazy. Too many people try to discredit Floyd instead of giving him his due credit
