Mosley's Imploding Had NOTHING to Do with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I and I'm sure others have read so many bad posts from you that this doesn't even have to be debunked. All i'll say is that the publically released testing dates states they were tested right after the fight, not before it. Now get off the internet before those UN black heliocopters start coming for you. That is the kind of thing you believe in, right?Comment

Well you can argue what you want about Mosley not being right but it was up to Floyd to fight in a way that took advantage of that so Floyd played some part in Mosley falling apart.Comment

Brother Naazim suspected that his fighter overtrained.
But just as some people were calling before the fight, several factors affected his physical condition.
No tune-up fight. No break between training for Berto and Floyd. Age and inactivity.
Not discrediting Floyd's performance, I bet on Floyd. But I'm just saying it was a rather easy bet to take.
Still, Floyd ATE Mosleys best shots. Can't ever take that from him.
The rest of the fight was Floyd stalking a gassed out Shane and landing flush shots for 30 minutes.Comment

mosley was clean. whether he over-trained or not is down to his camp. he wanted the fight so bad he jumped on floyd after the marquez fight. so don't bring up that over-trained **** again. floyd wasn't even hurt. if he was hurt, he would've backed up. but he kept pressing forward and going to the body. yes he was rocked a little and off-balance, but he won the rest of the round. what exactly are you trying to imply by saying all this? sounds like you need to go watch the fight again...I don't make a lot of unfavorable Mayweather threads, but there seems to be either a lack of knowledge on most of this board's part, or total ignorance to common sense.
Shane Mosley, when he hurt and almost put down Mayweather with those 2 right hands, mustered up all of his strength. That was Mosley's only chance at winning that fight, not because of Mayweather's brilliance.
I challenge you to rewatch the first few rounds. Mosley came out very tense, for a number of reasons: he hadn't fought in like 600 days, he was overtrained, and weight drained because USADA tested him right before the weigh in. Rewatch the second round. After you ooh and ahh at Mosley's brilliant outburst, watch when he gets Mayweather flopping around on the ropes. Look at how weak those body shots are. Is that because Mayweather looked at him the wrong way? Mayweather did nothing that round, and towards the end, Mosley was completely done. Do you really think a well-prepared Mosley has that terrible conditioning? It's just not true.
So, please remember. I do agree that Mayweather looked really good after the second round but it was not an adjustment from Mayweather that gave him the advantage. It was Mosley's shortcomings in being overtrained, overtense, and completely drained even during the second round. Shane knew he was drained in the second round. That's why he rushed his money punch.Comment
