But where's the ****ting on Devon for looking for that fight? oh i forgot he walks on ***in water and turns bastard water to wine acccording to people on here.

Casamayor and Katsidis are much higher calibre for a tune up than Kotelnik and Prescott - which is what team Alexander are looking at.
Be real. Alexander needs a fight, and Kotelnik is the best thing available right now. That's different from being moved up out of the way of dangerous punchers in the division you fought in previously and having a shot laid on against the weakest titlist in your first fight at the new weight.

It's hardly as if Khan ruined Kotelnik. When Alexander stops him, he'll have beaten the slow, relatively light-punching guy Khan danced around in way more convincing a fashion.

I'd rather see Khan fight Katsidis, I think. I don't know what state of a Casa would show up at this stage and at this weight.

I agree that those guys, besides the last two, would be better opponents, as would Julio Diaz who would be my personal choice. I wouldn't be estatic about Khan vs Casa, but this July 31 first isn't going to be the fight that determines his career. It's a 2 and a half month turnaround for Khan, and GBP and HBO wouldn't want to put him against too rough of a opponent who might beat him before HBO's seemly unoffical tournament, which will probably happen by the end of the year. If he fights 7/31, then fights Maidana later on this year, all would be forgiven.

Those are pretty weak options IMO.

I don't think Casamayor should be fighting anymore and Katsidis is too small and predictable to get inside on Khan effectively.

Joan Guzman, Lamont Peterson, Victor Ortiz, Mike Alvarado or Kendall Holt would all make good opponents for Amir Khan. Much better than a shopworn Joel Casamayor.

ortiz dont want none of maidana. not only did he make him quit the fight they had but he almost made him quit the sport all 2gether. that was crazy!!! ortiz should fight khan. both are under golden boy, oscar should set that up.

what GBP are doing with Khan right now is the reason people are watching UFC

khan needs to ****ing step up to the plate he has the skills to beat Maidana and he's too quick and strong for Bradley Alexander i'm not sure

we will never know how good he really is untill he actually fights someone that has a chance of hurting him

Alexander can fight any of them as well you know? Noway does alexander KO kotelnik and I actually see the fight being competitive. I don't care who khan fights in July because it's a 'keep busy fight'. But I don't like Khan taking on the winner of JMM-diaz that just sucks..... But it's good matchmaking from GBP, khan gets more known and in two training camps he will be soo much better than he is now.
