This. The fight could probably end in any round with one flush punch from either fighter.

Gotta lean toward JT though. He's got the better overall skillset and enough power to hurt Miranda, whose KO losses have come in the 7th, 4th, and 3rd rounds. Taylor's three KO losses have come in the 7th, 12th, and 12th rounds.

Taylor's only non-controversial win since the Ouma fight was against a shot (but arguably still dangerous puncher) Jeff Lacy. But he's been competitive in every loss.

Miranda has a better record over the last three years, but since the Pavlik loss his wins have come against absolute nobodies. Henry Porras is a limited slugger, David Banks is a Contender reject, and Manuel Esparza and Joey Vegas don't even need a comment. His last decent win came against Allan Green in 2007 and he was blown out against Pavlik, Abraham, Ward, and Bute.

Miranda's never proven that he belongs in the ring with a top fighter, whereas Taylor has. He gets the edge in my book.
