How are JT's losses overrated when he definitively lost every time.....by knockout. You can't argue against a knockout.

      Froch is a hard puncher.

Not dynamically hard like Abraham, but a solid, wear-you-down type of hard puncher.

I don't know, I think Pavlik did a pretty great job of breaking him down and blowing him out after a positive first couple rounds from Taylor.

I think Taylor would stop Miranda around round 8.

Its not only the fact that taylor has lost 5 of his last 6 fights its that he hasnt definitivly won a fight in 5 years.

I know Miranda isnt great either but his power gets to JT for a KO.

JT was a uppercut or two away from stoppin' Kelly EARLY in their 1st fight....if he throws that punch, the story changes.....he had Kelly but gassed and payed a heavy price.....JT imo won the rematch but it WAS a close fight, he also gassed in that one.....he was whoopin Froch until he gassed......and he was doing well against Abe and who's to say if he'd come to Germany much earlier than a week before the fight he would've been stronger....who knows?!?.....JT was winning the fights he lost BEFORE he lost them(did that make sense? )....anyway, all I'm sayin is that he was VERY competetive in his losses.....unlike Miranda!!

Taylor just gassed before 7 rounds were up? I don't even like Pavlik, but I'm giving him full credit for what happened to Taylor there - he jabbed his man up and down, stunned him repeatedly with the stick, found him all night with it, wore him out, broke his resistance down. Taylor was not winning that fight before he was knocked out. Even if you didn't have him winning the majority of rounds after 6 (I do), Pavlik was doing more damage in every one of them with that jab.

And if Taylor power-punched himself out in round 2, Pavlik was hit flush by 10-15 of those power-shots and took a KD, so the toll of that event in the fight on each man can be called at least even. What started the trouble for Pavlik in that round was one of those tricky shots behind the ear which mess your balance up, on which Taylor was able to capitalize and put a mini-whooping on Kelly, but that isolated incident didn't stem from Taylor being in control of the fight - IMO, Kelly was actually looking the more settled of the two immediately before.

Until Froch started catching up to him in the late going (championship rounds), Taylor was winning that one.

He was always fighting a rising tide against Abraham, though. His early success was only ostensible.

I think JT outboxes him simular to the Lacy fight...

I heard he was coming back at LHW though?

I hope he comes back anyway. One of my favorites...
