What does Floyd not having PPVS under 140 have to do with the fact that hes sold more PPVs than Pac?
As recent as his last fight.
This post is self ownage. Floyd doesnt have PPVs under 140 and still HAS MORE BUYS than Pac.
He's praising Floyd Mayweather for us. He's basically trying to show his ***** side by saying Mayweather didn't even need any PPV's below 140 to outsell Pacquiao in the PPV department
Yep 0 PPV's at 135 and under and still sold more total PPV's than Manny. This is called self owning. Your putting up numbers and owning yourself with them lol. This is too easy, I don't even have to type much. Thanks dude.
Again you are missing the point, all his PPV's occured at the 140 pound weight limit and above. In other words all those super high profile fights in weight classes that are known for super high profile fights and floyd could barely out sell Pac by half a million PPV's! And most of pac's PPV's occured in weight classes that never had anyone intresting enough to even fight on PPV including Floyd himself.

sorry but that line of thinking is over in boxing
the days where the heavier weights attract more is gone to be honest
I mean the glory divisions used to be middle and heavy weight right?
when was the last time we saw a meaningful high selling high profile PPV at either weight?
And he didn't have 11 PPV because of the point I have been making.
Mannys PPV history under 140 pounds.
Pacquiao vs Morales I - 350,000 buys = $15.7 million revenue
2.) Pacquiao vs Morales II - 360,000 buys = $16.2 million revenue
3.) Pacquiao vs Morales III - 350,000 buys = $17.5 million revenue
4.) Pacquiao vs Solis - 200,000 buys = $6 million revenue
5.) Pacquiao vs Barrera II - 350,000 buys = $17.4 million revenue
6.) Pacquiao vs Marquez II - 400,000 buys = $20.2 million revenue
7.) Pacquiao vs Diaz - 250,000 buys = $11 million revenue
Floyds PPV history under the 140 pound weight class.
0 ***ing nothing
Its not a reasonable argument because this means that Manny has been on PPV for more fights and has had more PPV exposure. In essence he has had more of an opportunity to expand his PPV base. I don't think anyone can argue that 7 ppv fights out selling 11 ppv fights isn't a definitive statistic.

names are driving PPVs now not weight classes
So oscars run at 140 and 147 never happened? Those were the divisions I was referring to. Welter has always been the real glamour division ever since the HW fell flat on their face.

You can when those smaller weight classes mentioned never had a history of PPV draws ever. Remember Floyd went thru those exact same divisions and never could generate a PPV fight himself.
I guess the question Im trying to pose to the entire bord is if manny was a Welterweight or junior welterweight the majority of his career don't you think his PPV numbers would have been higher.

PPV has just gotten out of control these past few years. When PBF was in the 130 weight class basically only HW was getting PPV fights. In the pass few years damn near anybody can get a fight on PPV.
Also PBF has not been a jr welterweight or welterweight for the majority of his career. Break down the number of his fights at 140 and above compared to the number of fights below 140.
