Secondly, kostya was generally regarded as either #3 or #4 p4p when hatton beat him, hopkins and floyd were without a doubt ahead of him.
P4P Tszyu would hand Hopkins a beating, i dont even consider Hopkins to be top 10 anymore. Forget about how title defences he's made because thats in the past and remember how bad Eastman made him look.

Thats harsh, considering I only made one comment which is a fact Hatton would stand a better chance than Gatti, he's workrate would be 10 times more than gatti's was tonight, he'd fight on the inside with calculated pressure. Its not like I said Hatton would win look at my avatar of course I would pick Floyd.

PS I thought you were ok, guess I was wrong

As for your opinion for the fights outcome, thats upto you.
Any trainer/fighter/manager that says their fighter can beat Mayweather without any doubts is out of their mind. There aren't any hall of fame fighters that could have beaten Mayweather "without any doubts". Even the biggest mayweather hater has to give him at least a decent shot against any fighter in the division. Little Ricky doesn't come close to having the speed to bum rush mayweather like he did Kostya. He wouldn't be able to catch him and he would get hurt all night long. Did you see how fast mayweather got in, hit hard, fast and accurate and got back out?

Kostya was rated #2 lb4lb behind Hopkins by most, but #1 lb4lb by some. Mayweather wasn't ahead of him because it was Tszyu who was Ring Magazine Champion at 140 (and Mayweather's at 140 too).

Oh and by the way, as Tszyu said before the Hatton fight "Kostya Tszyu 35 would beat Kostya Tsyzu 25, I would destroy myself!"

There is no way Gatti stood a chance tonight for these reasons. Gatti like you said......HAD TO fight inside but did not. If he did, Mayweather would have put his track shoes on and out boxed him silly. Ricky is physically stronger IMO than Gatti yes. But he has 1 mode, and that is attack. He throws better body combinations than Gatti does, but leaves himself open to shots upstairs. Ricky showed his chin against just about every fighter he has faced, and it is extremely good. Accumulation of punishment from PBF is another story though....he would be forced to walk through hailstorms and coerce Mayweather into HIS fight. That fight will never be fought because Mayweather would not want to go toe to toe with Hatton.

I would never say the RESULT would be the same.....I am only speaking in terms of winning and losing. Ricky would not get stopped by Mayweather like Gatti did. I dont think there is a chance in hell that he would K.O. PBF, or outpoint him.

Then again, I guess we are back in the same boat as last time prior to the Hatton v.s. Tszyu fight, either way Ricky beating Floyd would be so god damn monumental that it would eclipse his victory over Tszyu times five.
You make some valid points and i agree with you for the most part. But even Gatti backed Mayweather up when he was getting his handed to him, he backs up too easily and if he does that to Hatton he's gonna get beat. Hatton closes the distance too fast for anyone to land a lot of shots on the way in and when he has opponents on the ropes his strength and body shots drains their energy.

Its a real good style's match up, I cant think of a better pressure fighter than Hatton and i cant think of a better boxer than Mayweather.

I cant think of one either. Now that Micky ward has retired from the 140lb division. Ricky is the best Pressure fighter yes.
