Kizer confirmed yesterday that lidocaine is banned for use by boxers within a week of a bout. “If lidocaine is injected,” he said, “the pain receptors in the boxer may not work and he may not know if he is hurt.” He also confirmed that lidocaine would be tested for after the bout, at the Quest Diagnostics laboratory in the city.

It’s important to note that Mayweather and Mosley agreed that USADA could keep their samples and that their samples would be tested again in the future. If it turns up that there is a drug that is undetectable today is discovered and they test positive for that in the samples that are retained, they’ve agreed to forfeit the fight, to accept a two-year suspension from boxing and to pay back all of the money they earned from the bout.Comment

Let's face it Pac is dirty, Or else he would have jumped at the chance to prove he is clean and took the fight. Even with all of the experts in this forum in the media arpund the world that are so sure OSTs don't work... You'd rather floyd drop the test than Pac humor him take the test and buss' that ass like you think he can... Manny should just retire so we can only speculate at him being a cheater. if he gets in the ring without taking his power pak he will be broken for good... after his suspect ways all fighters should demand OSTs from him... he wont take em', he's the real coward... he's a fake..Comment

Its open knowledge floyd used xylocaine. Thats why he won't fight in Texas because it is on the banned substance list. The NSAC has rules regarding these substances. floyd foloowed the rules. It seems the original posters anger should be directed at the NSAC for not completely banning these substances.Comment
