Floyd needs to come out and show that he can fight PAC, if he knows how.

LATE LAST YEAR.. AFTER PAC BEAT COTTO made 1.25 MIL and FLOYD BEAT MARQUEZ made 1.0 MIL... DID PAC ASK FOR MORE THAN 50-50 back in this year's FEBRUARY NEGOTIATIONS ?!?!?!? Besides, FLOYD is RICH already, throwing away an opportunity to be GREATER take down a TOP DAWG in his era.

Thats why he wants the fight now so take the 45% and make Mayweather pay for it. otherwise be a congress me whule mayweather keeps whooping some serious ass!!
Manny was busy for congress seat election back in March, now he won seat and can focus back to boxing. But Flyod finds another excuse of more money now after Pac agreed to 14 days cut-off. WTF???

Daddy Floyd Sr. already stated that he doesn't like his son to fight southpaws and Sergio is big enough and fast enough to hit Floyd and not be hit...
Like you said he can fight Paul Williams (which PPL will give him mad respect for and i think will be next if pac fight falls through) he could fight Martinez or Berto. I think the Berto fight would be great and you cant hate on Mayweather taking that fight because Berto is 26, faster then Mosley i think, been in that weight class longer then Floyd, and is ranked #3 WW right now.

Mayweather has options player. im not saying dont fight Pac but Mayweather can fight alot of ppl

@JayHova... good point, I didn't even think of that. This could be a ploy by Floyd to say "I'll take a 50-50 split, you drop the lawsuit!" I hope it is and if Manny won't drop the suit, then he will be the *****. If he drops the lawsuit and Floyd still demands more money, then he might be the *****. Bottom line, you made a good point that I never even thought of... So, I say, Manny drop the lawsuit, agree to 14 day testing, agree to a 50-50 split or 60-40 split for the winner, and make the damn fight...

ohhh Now manny was busy is the excuse?? HAHA but he still fought Clottey uhh?? gimme a break.

How can you say he shouldnt get more money?? He had a smoking deal on the table and turned it down earlier this year. should've had the balls then but now he grew some and wants the same deal?? Pac should just take the 45% and make Mayweather pay for all the yapping.

I understand Joe, again in context those fights brought nothing to the table. At that point he already had two future of hall of famers on his ledger, both of which were HBO mainstays meaning the money/risk/reward were all worth it, enhancing his marketability.

He had a plan to move up and see how his body would react to those higher weight classes, once guys started dropping he said to himself 147 is a place where I could be successful and at the same time make more money. I realize money is important, taking ego out of the equation what he's done in the amount of time that he's done it is remarkable. As a fan of boxing, this is a fight we all want to see and everyone is acting like they are Floyd's accountant trying to use triangle theories as to why he deserves more money, both deserve a 50/50 split, PPV is one component, so is the venue/gate and sponsorship dollars which are all comparable.

i agree, team pacquiao is just setting the stage to make mayweather look like he's afraid so they can fight margacheato without the same backlash they did earlier in the year when manny refused OST. Team Pacquaio needs to understand that back in January they had the upper hand and mayweather knew that, thats why he agreed to 10 million clause if he was overweight, to a 50-50 purse split, and to wear 8oz gloves. Now Mayweather is in the driver seat, if they cant figure that out now, i could care less if this fight happens let him fight margarito he'll do about another 750,000 buys, then floyd will top 1mil no matter who he fights and make 4 times as much as pacquiao. I can care less because the more they try and make it seem like their trying to accomodate him, the more its obvious they're avoiding him. Dont worry though, Bob arum would love to keep top rank vs top rank in house to line his pockets. Playing favorites is cheating history. But numbers dont lie, people do.

@Buckadacious.... good point about Berto but that poor guy would get KO'd. I don't think I would pay to see that but I would pay to see him vs. Paul Williams. I thought Williams was kinda exposed against Martinez (I had the fight scored a draw) but Williams has a way of getting countered and we all know, Floyd can counter like a mofo. I just think Williams would have a chance to land some punches and make a good fight. Let me ask you... was Floyd vs. ODLH or Floyd vs. Marquez exciting? I didn't think so and the Mosley fight was intiguing for 6 rounds, but the last 6 rounds was a Floyd schooling. I know, you say like Roy Jones in his prime, nobody could touch him but I like guys who FIGHT and fight hard, slug if they have to, box if they have to, etc. Like that fight last week with Perez vs. Mares... That was some awesome ****, don't you agree?

Floyd said 50-50 BECAUSE HE WANTED THE FIGHT MADE!!!! Thats why he agreed to the biggest BS EVER in paying 10 mil every pund over 147!!! But Nooooo Pac doesnt wannna take a blood test in March but now he wants too?? Yep yep, Pac has nowhere to go so take the 45% and have a chance to beat the best boxer hes ever gonna face.
