The reason is that with many of his fights, you say, can't Floyd finally fight someone that is not an underdog?

    That plus....

Cotto, Mosley, Paul Williams, Margarito were all able to make the fights happen and actually fought each other, Floyd was nowhere to be seen.

    That plus,

Instead, Floyd picked on boxers who had little or no success as WW, or were passed their prime, or did not even belong in the WW division.

So if you add all of the above, I think those are good reasons as to why. ....... but I can understand that if your a Floyd fan it can be frustrating.

Still, you need to understand that that is how other boxing fans may be looking at it.

BUT for me, scared may not be the correct word to reflect what I stated above. It's just something that a fan wants to see but doesn't happen.

I remember how people were saying that Floyd was "scared" at the weigh-in for Hatton. 30 hours later, Ricky is looking up at the lights.

Floyd was "scared" of Mosley. He then took Shane's best shots and proceeded to walk through Shane.

Everybody from Oscar to Ricky to Shane to Naazim said that the reason he talks so much is because he is "nervous".

When Floyd talks alot during the promotion, he's "scared". When Floyd gets quiet on fight week, he's "scared".

Much of it comes from a certain group who is very timid and frightened in real life. So they impose their values and their insecurities on to other people. They think a certain way, and assume others do also.

No. Most boxing fans in the US and Ireland (2 places I've lived) don't care about Floyd or Manny's legacy, haha. They just like talking boxing. like 'who would win if XXXX fought XXXX and why?', etc.

This ******ed Floyd/Pacquiao fanboy talk pretty much only happens on these boards.

How do you know what Floyd is feeling deep down in his Gorilladog heart?

He could be scared and stilling winning fights and for that he is a brave little trooper in my book......but still he needs to get over his fear of Pac.
