This is just not true. Every time I've met a boxing fan since 2002 I bring up floyd and I have not heard one fight fan say Floyd fights scared or selects opponents in a scared manner...

The guy's record pretty much speaks for itself anyways. Don't let this forumns banter confuse you. Usually 'fight fans' conversations about Floyd are in regards to how we rate him as an all time great.
