White is not a nationality, ethnicity, or a religion. It is a skin color that gives power and privilege. The category "white" serves no other purpose.

Think about this - if whites are a ruling class of people, what is the purpose in being "pro-white" other then to maintain the subjugation of non-white people? That's why being pro-black, Asian, etc. is different. It's about being supportive in rising up to racism in order to collapse the system, not reverse is which is what a lot of people confuse. We're talking about the difference between assertions of racism and reactions to racism. If a non-white person is showing hostility toward a white person in part because of race, that's a reaction to racism - not racism itself. Prejudice is a more appropriate term. However, it is in no shape or form equal to a white person showing hostility to a non-white person in part because of race since there is power behind such actions. It's the difference between hitting someone with a wiffle bat vs a wooden bat.

I think most people subconsciously understand this which is why red-flags go up when you hear people acting in a pro-white manner but don't know how to explain it. It's the same reason people say "reverse-racism" because subconsciously they understand that the flow of racism is from white down otherwise they wouldn't need to add a "reverse" to the beginning.

Think about it: has anyone ever seen someone who is pro-white and not be racist? The fact that they are only concerned with supporting those who need the least racial support tells you all you need to know about those characters.

I actually don't have a problem with that. At all.

My problem is when people start hating on fighters of other races because they are not white.

You can support whoever you like for whatever reason as far as I am concerned. It is the hating that is the problem.

I think there is a difference between supporting fighters from your country and supporting fighters of your race. One is a matter of cultural pride and the other is an inclination of racism, however diluted.

We all seem to be forgetting one important point anyway - we're all one race, the human race. Support good fighters and forget everything else.

Sadly,its a two way street for racism on this site. Not all Klitscko fans are racist but the ones that are seem to be the most vociferous and post more than the others. Its they same with Mayweather fans,who as far as racism goes,vastly outnumber the Klitschko fans.

Extreme fans of any fighter seem more likely to have extreme views and sensitivities about other issues,and the vast majority of Mayweather fans on this site seem to have a massive chip on their shoulder about race.
