Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux's Manager Wants Him Back With Roach

MIAMI – Irish boxing manager Gary Hyde, who last December won a legal judgment in Miami to manage two-time Olympic champion Guillermo “The Jackal” Rigondeaux, recently received legal confirmation to continue managing the Cuban boxing star, effectively knocking out Hyde’s opposition for control of Rigondeaux’ pro boxing career. This **** is not good for his development. Pick a guy and stick with him, Rigo.

Not sure what the true story is but one thing is clear - too many people are involved in Rigo's career trying to guide him one way or the other.

How the hell is Rigondeaux managed by Gary Hyde in the first place? Makes little sense to me...

Seems unlikely if he doesn't have a trainer.

Looks like he's been going through legal **** for the past month or two. I know he wasn't allowed to box until this matter was sorted out.

This is great news. Now Amir can spar with Riggondeaux for his preparation against southpaw Alexander.
