Comments Thread For: Adamek vs. Grant is Coming Together For 8/28 or 9/2

The details connected with the organization of the fight between Tomasz Adamek (41-1, 27 KO) and Michael Grant (46-3, 34 KO), have been accepted by both heavyweights. The contract is already being prepared and waits for signatures. The battle will take place on August 28 in Atlantic City or on September 2 in Newark, as Adamek said to the journalists of BoxingScene.com/Bokser.org.The first date will be possible if the organizers manage to postpone a concert scheduled on that day in Atlantic City. The heavyweight bout would be televised by ESPN which is working on rescheduling the concert. [Click Here To Read More]

Wow, what a big big mistake in my opinion. Why not fight someone in the top 10?

This is a ****** fight. Personally, I want to see Haye-Adamek. Haye is the lineal cruiserweight champ. Adamek won Haye's vacated The Ring magazine belt after Haye moved to heavy. Regardless of what happens with the Klitschkos, Haye-Adamek needs to happen to determine who's the best cruiserweight of this era. If it happens to be at heavyweight, so be it.

Adamek is scraping the bottom of the barrell here. I'm guessing this will be broadcast via internet TV or something?

Adamek can sell in that area and this is a fight where he can look real impressive against a giant guy.

Nothing to get excited about unless you are a huge Adamek fan.
