man shut up...he might not have beaten the likes of holyfield or lewis and even lost to buster douglas...but mike was watching old fights almost everynight since he was a young boy growing up and training with cus damato...believe me he knows his boxing history..

He's not that smart of a boxer. Plus his voice is horrible and his vocabulary is very small. SRL would be way better....

Being knowledgeable doesn't always mean you're going to be a good commentator.

He was pretty lousy during the Hopkins-Mercado 2/Pettway-Brown broadcast on Showtime, although he provided some unintentional comedy. I think he did some other broadcasts recently but I didn't see it. I hope he's improved.
