Since they want to compare instead Cotto/Pac to Floyd/Mosley then they should compare ODLH/Pac and Floyd/Pac. Also they can compare Marquez/Pac and Floyd/Marquez.

      See how this works

The PPV sales was the reason Floyd is asking for more of the purse, Shane Mosley hadn't fought on PPV for his last couple of fights yet he did 1.4 million, Clottey-Pac 700k, in boxing your only good as your last numbers.

To say Floyd not accepting Pacquiao agreement to the 14 day drug test cut off you can legitimate call that ducking but the purse situation, no way.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is using the pay-per-view sales of his recent fight against Shane Mosley as leverage as he seeks a bigger share of the purse against Manny Pacquiao.

Team Pacquiao said yesterday that there were reports the undefeated American has demanded a bigger share of the purse for the showdown being planned for Nov. 13.

“We just got word that it seems to be that way,” said Pacquiao’s lawyer, Franklin Gacal, yesterday, just hours after Pacquiao was discharged from the hospital after a second bout with acid reflux.

“But we will never agree to that,” said Gacal, who added that Mayweather now believes he deserves a bigger share than Pacquiao based on the pay-per-view sales of their most recent fights.

Mayweather and Mosley sold 1.4 million PPV hits last May 1 while Pacquiao did around 700,000 in his fight with Joshua Clottey last March.

However, Gacal said the fight with Clottey should not be used as a gauge of Pacquiao’s drawing power, but the one he had against Miguel Cotto late last year, a 12-round contest that sold 1.25 million hits.

“It’s the Cotto fight they should look at and not the Clottey fight. And it’s pretty even, so we’re sticking to the fifty-fifty percent split between Manny and Floyd if they ever fight,” said Gacal.

The lawyer did not confirm if it was Bob Arum, in the US quietly trying to make the superfight happen, who told them that Mayweather is now demanding for a bigger purse.

But Pacquiao’s business manager, Eric Pineda, said word indeed reached the Pacquiao camp yesterday that Mayweather now wants a bigger share of the purse. In case of a 50-50 sharing, the two fighters can earn around $40 million each.

“Yes, we were told that Floyd now wants a bigger share. And if that’s the case, we now feel that he really doesn’t want to fight Manny because Floyd knows we will never agree on that,” said Pineda.

Apparently, Pacquiao was not happy with the news because it could mean that the fight will never take place.

Pacquiao said a few days ago he was giving in to Mayweather’s demand to have blood tests taken 14 days before the fight, or even closer than that as long as it’s not on the day of the fight itself.

But Pacquiao’s willingness to do more blood tests were met by reports that Mayweather, as of February, had renewed his demand. From 14 days, he said he wants it done “all the way to the fight.”
In all honesty, I have no idea wtf is wrong this ***er... First he disses the *** out of Pac, and then throws in a ridiculous drug test to further add insult to injure -- leading to the fight not happening -- now he wants more money? This is crazy! Manny is trying to make the fight happen; agreeing to this bull**** test, and now you want to throw in you want more money -- man if this article has any truth behind it...then all I see is guy making bull**** stipulations so he can wiggle his way out of this fight. First the drug test...now money...I'm starting to believe Sr really doesn't want little boy messing with Pac... There is absolutely no reason this time around for this fight not to be made...none...the drug test was the reason this **** didn't push through the first time (Manny has agreed to that)...now there is no reason (excuses) for this fight not to happen now.

            Mayweather is ducking.

Im sorry, I just cant hold it in any longer. I hope I dont get kicked out of the Mayweather mafia for this but I have to be honest with myself first and foremost.

A logical argument can be made for him to get a 55-45 split, but something tells me hes asking for 60-40 and using an obnoxious argument to get OUT of the fight.

He is ducking, just the way he is going about this fight is all wrong.

                If it is true:

Mayweather: 14 days and 50-50 purse is enough to make the fight.

He fight a 38 year old boxer who got beat by Cotto.

Mayweather (Month later): 14 days is no good. Neither is 50-50.

Commone sense people. I don't care what he said in February or after the Mosley fight. He went back on his negotiation demands. If the fight does not happen... people will know that it was his fault and his fault alone.

Your logic Fails, Mayweather vs Mosley did just around 1M and it cost an arm and leg for all the 24/7, billboards, advertisements, everywhere. Schaefer expecded 3M bec of what they spent for ads, someone is not happy about the pathetic PPV buys for what had spent to it.
Hell Cotto vs Pac did just as much with hardly anything to hype the fight!!!!

How is Mayweather ducking when all Pac has to do is accept the terms, 60/40 with no cut off and he got a fight.

Like I often mention, Floyd Mayweather Jr is toast in boxing history. Mayweather wants none of Pac.

Look, Pac fans, we need to stop engaging with this back and forth debates with Pac haters/*****s. It's over. Let's move on. Let's just leave Mayweather alone. It's clear this is no longer about the fight inside the ring. It's outside of it. These *****s think that they're helping their idol. They're actually helping him sink further into a mud of chicken dung.

These *****s are like little girls who want to have everything and we Pac fans have played along and comply with whatever they want which included pretending Pac is a cheater.

We need to move on. It's over.
