I wouldn't mind seeing him against someone like Quintana.

They are both DiBella fighters (I think?) at a crossroads in their careers, and it would be a fight that would likely come down to skills rather than strength, power and physical advantages.

A lot of people have mentioned Malignaggi-Judah, that one could still happen at 147 and would probably earn both guys a decent payday.

"I don't want to take away any credit from Amir Khan's victory, but poor little Paulie was a walking corpse in the ring that night".

That's as bad an excuse as Malignaggi implying that he no longer "had it" in his post fight interviews. The fact of the matter is,Malignaggi never had it to begin with.

Malignaggi was supposed to be this new fighter after escaping the clutches of the evil buddy McGirt. He was supposed to dazzle and school this supposed british hype job, just as he was supposed to do to Hatton.Instead,Malignaggi imitated his Hatton performance and put up a gutless effort when he realized he was out of his depth against the far superior fighter.

I don't give Malignaggi a whole lot of credit for anything, but I will credit for making as much money and gaining as much recognition as he has done with the limited amount of talent that he has.

A lack of puncher power shouldn't be a problem if a fighter is a genuine talent. There are many examples of ATG fighters who had the punching power of a little girl, but who had the skill and will to carve out a fantastic career.Malignaggi has no skill and he has no will.

Malignaggi could always carve out a career in stand up comedy.I recommend he use that line that he brought up in a recent interview about his hopes to one day enter the hall of fame as his first joke.

Wow surprised me this decision came so quick. I had heard he struggled to make weight for his last few fights. But hey, he will whoop Matt Hatton and hopefully its in the UK, would lvoe to see this!

matthew hatton is terrible and i would bet on paulie outboxing him over 12 rounds. he is going to have to hoover up the dregs of the WW division if he wants to hang around it, as the top fighters i think will all stop him pretty easily, same again in the JWW division, all the top fighters beat him pretty easily.
i dont rate malignaggi if im honest, 1 handed boxers with no power are a disaster recipe especially when they are fighting 2 handed boxers that can **** and are equally as fast on their feet, i dont see it ending well for Paulie im afraid
