Well, in February Floyd said he going to do a 0 day cut off and won't accept 50/50...which has my mind thinking, WHY DID MANNY AGREE TO THE 14 DAYS NOW WHEN FLOYD MOVED OFF THAT OFFER?Comment

Maybe his hoping Floyd will change his mind, theres so much money to be made here. Floyd should also accept the 50/50 split as well
Personally I dont think the fight will happen, I think Pac will end up fighting MargaritoComment

So what about the way footballers are testing (soccer to Americans). Our football players are all subject to random testing all year around. They are rarely testing, but randomly they will come out and test like 2-3 players from each team in the country and then if anyone is dirty, they ban them for over a year and fine them heavily....isn't this a better solution? Test all boxers all year round...you don't test them the week of a big game...you just test them whenever...even in off season.Comment

Floyd also initially said 0 days, then offered 14 days.
So now he has gone back to 0 days, what's stopping him from reserving his current position and going with 14 days again?Comment

My question is WHY DIDN'T MANNY ACCEPT IT WHEN IT WAS THERE? Can you answer that?
Also, when you offer something and the person you offer it to basically laughs at it and walks away and has another fight the NEXT DAY, why offer it again?Comment

I will try to answer it.
Pacquaio had his elections coming up and maybe he was worried that a loss to Floyd would badly affect his chances of winning. Or maybe Roach needed more time to work out a strategy. Arum did say back then that they would try to make it later on in the year as well. Its all about compromise, for example:Oscar let Floyd get a slice of the ppv money to make Floyd-Oscar happen, even King and Arum have worked together when the money was rightComment

I'll give my opinion on it, yes, which reminds me you never answered my question on randomness, in another thread, where you found it so laughable for why computer generation offers more randomness then individuals picking dates? Go back to that thread and answer the question please, give me your reasoning, scientific facts.
Anyway, from tallying everything in, I put it down to stubbornness, Manny didn't want to budge and nor did Floyd.
Manny has now a big life outside of Boxing and is possibly going to retire in the very near future, hes made a big step with agreeing to the 14 days and is looking to get the fight signed and done with. If he fights Floyd next, I would not be surprised if he retires after that.
If you want to believe that, that's up to you, maybe he has found a new super PED which reduces the masking time by 10 days, believe that if you like...
The point is, we are now at a stage that Manny has agreed to a offer that Floyd found acceptable to offer in the first place. This is a underlining fact. The ball is in Floyds court now. The firm stance on 0 days now is nonsense. He should have kept that right from the get go if he wanted to still be holding the high cards.
Why offer it again? To get the fight signed ASAP, its that simple.Comment

Hey Webb,
they answered your questions.
How about you now answer theirs?
Seems fair.
