Wow - I'm shocked @ the bad press for Froch

I don't see why people are ripping on Froch for not wanting to fight in Sweeden / Germany because in either place he'll get robbed.

Nottingham if it's close it'll go to Froch - Froch only wants a neutral location - is that so wrong? froch took his first defence in the USa vs Taylor. won a fight many think he lost in a razor thin decision against Dirrell and lost a fight (I thought) he won in Denmark. He's earnt the right to demand a fair venue the man is no ducker but has been burnt twice now in the shocking points deficit vs taylor and the loss vs Kessler.

(those of you who remember I bet on kessler to win but thought Froch won; that's pretty honest don't you think?)

that said I'll take a lifetime bet here and now ban from boxingscene forums for good, permanently that in a fair, neutral location Froch beats Abraham I am that confident 100% that he'd win on fair ground.

I think its logical and fair for the fight to happen in the USA & if Sauerland keep pushing for a EU venue that pretty much confirms to me they are seeking home cooking; that's all I need to know & confirms my concerns.

Anyone want to take me up on my lifetime ban bet (BPP can back this one up) *providing* the fight is neutral - ie both betters agree the fight location is neutral.

    Takers?

What's wrong with having the fight in Europe?

Dirrell beat his ass but he was lucky to get his decision at home. He knows he needs every advantage he can because his skills lack. They should do it in germany

        1) Henessy isn't that smart (I saw him eyeballing the twinkee tray when they had those S6 planning meetings)

        2) In most the the EU outside the UK Sauerland will fix the fight.

        3) what's wrong with the US? that's 100% neutral here.

He beat taylor and beat kessler (imo). he debatebly* lost to Dirrell and even then the fight was so so so so close. He's just been burnt risking it all fighting abroad; he deserves a fair shot.

Do you think it would do big business in America. Like a 20k arena?

              I wonder.

That may come into play here.

I don't think Froch's fanbase is very big at all in the UK let alone here.

Abraham has more fans but could he rock big numbers here?

Why couldnt they just put it on the undercard of Dirrell vs Ward?

Never. It doesn't make financial sense.

Promoters never boil down two big events into 1.

They'd rather milk any star for as much as they can.

Of course, I'd like the idea but that's basically telling everyone to make less money.

Didnt they have two super six fights on the same night once? Maybe Im mistaken...
