Define what makes someone a good boxer. As for Frochs antics outside of the ring, I don't like it either but he does fight the best opponents available to him which is great for boxing.

He has a pretty good amateur pedigree, in fact very good considering, he beat the best in britain unlike most do...then went onto world level and put in a heroic performance against pascal, pulled out a chavez on taylor..he had a war with kessler, it was a draw really, maybe kessler edged it on the bodywork, but nobody got outclassed....the dirrell fight was the only negative performance....I cant really be bothered to reply anymore! Like I say... seriously hit the gym and get a feel for what its like just to spar with people who are not even professionals, you have to be good to make area champion, dont believe the hype, you are criticising elite world championship boxing, you really are dribbling **** pal! I aint saying he is floyd, but styles make fights and fighters make styles!

Even though this is off topic and I am not a huge Froch fan, he did fight Taylor,Pascal, Dirrell, Robin Reid, and he tko'ed Brian Magee who knocked out Mads Larsen pretty quick.

Those are all decent names, and Magee looked great dismantling Larsen.

Froch's a good fighter. He's got plenty of grit and though he's not the most technically skilled, he finds a way to get there and make things close.


As far as the topic, I couldn't think of sillier place to have the fight than Sweden.

The U.S.A doesnt' seem like a great place to have the fight as I don't think the money would be good enough for either guy to entertain it unless they want to take paycuts.

He won the commonwealth then he won the british title.....and he defended the british against about 4 or 5 opponents....I really would'nt take your opinion on who is a good boxer and who aint too serious anyway lol.

People need to stop feeding Shade Darker. He obviously isn't going to change his mind on Froch, even at the long shot of winning the tournament, this fool wouldn't give Froch any credibility.

If he doesn't rate Froch, fair enough, but if he think's Froch is shit, then what does that say about all of the guys he has beat, and Kessler, a man that he went to war with and could have gotten a decision out of Denmark? Some posters logic are laughable.
