What more are we supposed to expect of Froch? I've followed his career since his 5th pro fight through local fighters. I know of his capabilities, i've seen nearly every single pro fight of his, he may have over-exceeded any ones expectations, but i don't understand your point.

I know how limited his skills are, i know his vulnerabilities, and as Kessler has shown, a more superior skilled and experienced fighter will know how to handle a man like Froch. Confidence and heart are Froch's biggest assets. No matter how much of an underdog he has been and will continue being, Froch will give 100% in every fight, and his opponent will know of that for sure.

Tell me something i don't know about Froch. Please. I'm pretty sure i have followed the man a lot longer then anybody else on these boards, so it will be interesting how somebody else....who i assume has only seen of Froch since around the Pascal fight....can tell me more about the man.

I don't rave about Froch of being the greatest fighter out there, but if you cannot respect his achievements in the ring, then you don't deserve to be a fan of boxing. Is he not exciting enough for you?

Take the upcoming fight for example, again Froch is the underdog. Abraham is favoured by many to knock him out. The contrast in both mens style makes for a mouth-watering showdown. Apart from the Dirrell fight, a fight with Froch is far from disapointing.

that is actually a good post. my point is he just aint that good. simple as that. people say he is a warrior, but if that was the case, he would fight anybody anywhere instead of threatening to quit if he cant get a fight at home.

i think slim shandy does enough raving about froch being the best out there for every froch fan. he showed in the dirrell fight that he is slow and fantastic at missing the target. then he talks a load of ****e aswell, " im up there with floyd mayweather and roy jones jr" lol. keep dreaming!

Slim Shandy's opinions on Froch are biased nuthuggery, not one to pay attention to. He is a good enough reason to be put off from liking a boxer, sort of like Wazaa and Amir Khan.

Nobody will look good against Dirrell. He is too athletically gifted to actually compete with, his heart however is to be questioned. If his mind is right, he could outwork anybody in this tourny, Ward included. I will actually back Dirrell in the fight of the two Andre's.

Froch's mouth is there to sell fights. I've met him twice, and both times found him to be a nice, humble guy. He'd happily stop for a fan wanting a picture or an autograph. Some people like the ****iness, some don't. That, i can understand you for wanting to root for the opposite man, but not to respect a fighter is something i cannot fathom to. Unless there was a real reason to have hatred for a boxer (rapists, crime etc..) i don't know why a man must recieve so much flack for entering a ring as a profession, and is some cases, put his life on the line for the entertainment of others.

Damn good negotiating by Goosen. Ward should have no fights in his hometown if he makes it to stage 2.

Hell yeah, they should fight in America. They will get a pretty decent gate, helluva lot better than Sweden.

Plus, it would be completely neutral. Two euros fighting in America, thats like two mexicans fighting in Japan.
