i think people like to watch fights like Gatti Ward because
even though neither Ward or Gatti are soo gifted so they dont move around as much as Floyd does. in other words people like brawls more thatn watchign mayweather outbox people

RJJ found a way to make that style exciting for ppl thats why ppl love RJJ, but Floyd just doesn't do it for me. I do know he's prolly the most skilled boxer next to hopkins but he can't get fans to watch him b/c of hist style, even sugar rey leonard had tremendous boxing skill but he was always fun to watch.Comment

And leonard didnt have the defense that mayweather does,,,he was greatly skilled but had less defence than floyd,,,tjhats why he was a bit more exciting,,,i luv mayweather cuz he is boxing,,thas what boxing is,,,sweet science and total domination of his opponents if ur really into boxing u appreciate how Ez he makes it look even though its hard as hell to do it.....case in point u try it,,,i bet ull be an exciting fighter to watch too cuz u aint gonna move or stick like mayweather,,,so i hope u have a strong chin....Comment

hes got the same problem as winky wright: hes so technical and so damn good, that he doesnt add any excitement to his fights. fans love to see exiting fights partly because they have no idea who could come out on top. in floyd mayweather's case, he seems like hes winning so easily, that fans already know hes going to win.
another problem with floyd is he is too cautious. like many other fighters, he doesnt put himself at risk and doesnt engage in slugfests. thats y people love gatti, morales, and others. because they go for the KO, they look to fight, and they love to slug it out.
floyd is just too cautious and too technical for him to be a real crowd pleaser. PBF is good, but hes too good.Comment
