Give me some definitive rounds that were won in the Perez/Mares fight............

Give me some definitive rounds that were won in the Perez/Mares fight, so we can see which rounds there was more debatable.

I think we can pretty much agree that Mares won round 1, 10, 11 and 12, that fair to say?

If i recall i think round 5 was prolly Perez's clearest round.

Do you agree with the rounds i said and throw some more rounds at me and see if we can agree which way they went, should of gone.

I was @ the fight and I can tell you that to me Perez might have won the early rounds like 2, 3, 4, 5. Rounds 6, 7, 8, 9 were a toss up IMO. My bros and my sis were actually surprised but it seemed like Mares was hurt or was tired by the 3rd round. Perez was non-stop throughout the whole fight. This was a fight were I was not mad or upset at the scores.

Yeah that is what it seemed like to me, though he came back strong.

Im going to watch round 2 again as consensus opinion is that Perez may have edged it.

I thought it was a great fight! I wasn't upset with the scoring either...it was a close competitive fight. I like the way Abner Mares fights; Perez is always entertaining to watch. I can't wait for the 2nd fight!

It was a tough fight for both of them. IDK why but I got the impression that Perez wasn't sure if he was going to keep his title. You know how they say that you can tell the winner of the fight at the end of it by their expressions and body language...By that standard I thought Mares was sure he had won. I'll tell you this much I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch.

I dont think that always! true though, some! fighters just look down when they feel they have underperformed, albeit still won, i mean Shane Mosley looked more shocked than anybody when they said he won the second DLH fight, and Roy Jones looked as though he thought he had lost to Tarver, when in actual fact he had won, deservedly so imo (first fight)

I guess you're right. I can't wait for the rematch. I think that Mares can take it this time.

                  I think so to.

Something i also noticed in the fight was.................that Mares fought with an open hand, meaning he would generally be able to throw quicker punches and be more relaxed as his shoulders were not tight due to clenching his fists and looking to punch hard at all times, Perez was the reverse of that, looking to punch with power at all times, clenching his fists & walking is man down looking to put some hurt on him, thats why i think Mares was able to offset him somewhat at times, or show superior speed and therefore get off first down the stretch, or conserve energy because he had less on his punches.

Although im more a fan of Perez.

How can you not be a fan of Perez? The dude is a beast. And another thing that I saw was that to me it seemed that Mares was not punching in combinations. The most I saw was a 3-punch combo. To me he needs to put his punches together
