    I tell ya Mares showed some heart himself for a green prospect, i picked Perez because!! i knew how mentally strong willed/determined he is, so for Mares to kinda match his appetite, was impressive, particularly considering his experience.

      I think Mares surprised a lot of people by fighting the way he did. And you're right at this point he was a prospect/contender with a shot at the IBF title and I think he proved he is the real deal.

        Yeah, there was a point in the fight were by it looked like Perez pressure was going to run him out the ring as he looked to be getting tired, he came back well though, i think that 6th round stopped the rot.

            Tell me about it and Perez had more than I expected supporters and they were loud. It was back and forth action in the ring as well as in the stands. The 118 division is looking good.
