Boxing definitely. Training aside, people hitting you in your body and head at full force and speed for 12 rounds requires above normal person mental toughness than any other sports. Then you add the training and your loses that will stick in your records forever.

I am not saying that makes it easy cause it aint, some of these guys train like animals and if you look at there thighs you can see that they train hard. But the difference between Cycling and Boxing is that in Boxing your using every muscle when in Cycling your mainly just using one set of muscles. I could be wrong though, I don't cycle much.
Plus cyclists wear tights and don't get punched in the face.

I'd say so, not only are you physically pushing yourself you also take a alot of hits and that **** can cause long term damage, I really respect boxers in that sense, cause normal people wouldn't ever put themselves in that position and not every boxer is like mayweather that has good ass defense/skills.

They are pretty tough. The continue riding after horrible crashes that leaves them with broken collarbones and asphaltburns. Still they continue and are ready the next day.

Not many athletes are tougher than bike riders.

That would be cool if they could punch each other in the peleton while riding to see who the toughest is.

Its difficult to say as all sports are different, I remember doing a bit of single seat motor racing and I was dead after 10mins, F1 is one tough sport on your body what with all the G-Force's heat and strength required to push the pedals (which is actually massive) but then again you are not getting hit in the face like boxing.

It's the sport where you're going to take the most punishment but I would say Marathon runners and Cycling is more endurance demanding, obviously.
