Do boxers use tredmills much?

    Often when training where the weathers bad, treadmills are a training fighter's best friend. Who wants to go out and run in the snow and ice early in the morning?

          Treadmills certainly are more 'joint friendly'... but the mental side of running long periods is not exactly simulated on a treadmill... though more importantly is the balance necessary to run outside (not on a track), complex motor coordination comes from distance running, as well as obvious cardio benefits... the balance coordination helps the adaptability of fatigued/tired fighters... those adaptational benefits are important... air/wind resistence, etc. cannot be simulated on a treadmill...

            Me. I love running in extreme weather conditions, i get an extra drive to overcome adversity.

              I just bought a $800 tredmill for $400 becuz it was on sale. Ima run on that alot now



              One week i was on the tred mill for 25 mins a day and i dropped 5 lbs and ate right. im hoping to get down to 175
