I don't know why people rag on this fight. It's a legit fight, Kotelnik is a very hard fighter to fight and he has a great defense something Devon hasn't faced yet

The writing is already on the wall too, because Kotelnik already turned Devon down. That lets us all know he can't beat him. Fight somone else for god sakes. Boxing sucks sometimes because of this ****.

uhhh,isn't that what every fighter wants,a chance to fight for the belt,then what are they in this sport for? i think it's better than kotelnik who got beat by khan and to me he lost to maidana too

It's a louzy fight. I'm sorry. The Johnson-Cloud fight is ten times better. Nobody even knows who Kotelnik is, and if Alexander had to settle for an unknown, he should've just fought his mandatory in Mabuza.

Good fight. Not a great fight, but yet again Devon is fighting the toughest available opponent.

Kotelnik is a good fighter and a tough fight for a lot of people, if Alexander beats him people will probably give no credit as they don't know how good Kotelnik is, which is down to their ignorance rather than Kotelnik's abilities.

Kotelnik was a bum when Khan fought him. Everything's a o.k. when Alexander wants to fight him though. I really don't see why he just can't fight his mandatory, but it's clear that Alexander will be one of those protected fighters that many people won't criticize...

Alexander isn't at all protected. Very few fighters take on the level of opposition he has faced at his age.

He is younger than Khan and IMO has faced better opposition and pursued better opposition.
