          His second career is pretty good considering he had no tune up fights, came back to win a belt in a dominating fashion, and has subsequently fought on a regular basis against decent competition.

          Not great competition, and he does have massive physical advantages, but quite impressive to come back like that.

              A fair point, but playing devils advocate he was fighting a guy that is basically unanimously in all top 10 HW lists, rarely outside of the top 5, and top 3 on many. Also a guy regarded as one of the stongest (argued to be THE strongest) head to head HW's of all time.

                naps essentially he has been better than every fighter he has faced and you know that... who would you like him to fight? he is destroying everybody...tell me who you want him to fight or who he ducked in the last 5 years

                    Sam peter is his best...he knocked down wlad 3 times,bear toney twice,maskaev.peter put a nice string of wins together before he got hammered by vitali.the 2 best guys he fought(lewis & Byrd)he lost to...it doesn't matter 20 years from now vitali is still 0-2 vs his best opponents.
