Your analogy might apply sans one major issue...boxing doesn't have a uniform commission, therefore he isn't working under the constraints of any regulatory body, aside from those that are jurisdictional--in this case Nevada, which does have a commission in place with outlined testing procedures. Now if someone doesn't like those tests, they can simply petition the NSAC to modify their testing program, it's as simple as that and Pac would be forced to comply--then I see no issue however--I take into account the source and dismiss it accordingly. It depends who is accusing me as to whether or not I would decide to take the test, not an uneducated family, I'd just kick back and laugh it off.

But like I've said in the past, the commission regulations excuse is pretty lame when talking mega events, especially when it concerns Manny Pacquaio. Come on bro, do we have to go through this? Look at his last couple fights. He fought for Cotto's welterweight belt at a 145 catchweight. I don't think the commission dictated that stipulation. He got a lion's share of the purse with Hatton and Cotto while fighting as the challenger. Every sanctioning body in the world stipulates that the champion gets 75% of the purse. And the de la Hoya fight was fought at a catchweight that de la Hoya hadn't made in nearly a decade. I don't think the NSAC dictated that stipulation. So Pac and his team should be the last ones crying commission when talking special, non-commission required contract stipulations.

Actually, from reading your posts, it seems like you have more issue with the Mayweathers asking for the tests than the actual tests themselves. I could be wrong, and I apologize if I am. But I'm just curious. If the roles were reversed and Arum, Roach, and Pacquaio were asking Mayweather to submit to the USADA testing, would you take as much issue with it? Because obviously Arum, not necessarily Roach and Pac, articulates himself much better than any of the Mayweathers. And it seems as if articulation and educational background is playing a lot into your opinion.

First let me say this, if Pac got smacked in the face tomorrow by a tornado, it wouldn't change my life one way or the other, so I'm not a Pac fan in that regard. I don't believe in extremes. I'm specifically talking about testing and where it all emanated from, so you are correct in assuming that yes I have a problem with the source. If the roles were reversed and Pac had accused Floyd of taking steroids, then I would be dismissive of Pac and his entire team as well, so I'm consistent and it works both ways.

I can respect that. That said, I'm a little more sensitive to illegal drug use. I'm of the belief that drug testing is a black and white issue, with absolutely no grey area. Like I've said on here previously. If I'm going to an equal share business venture with someone where an amount of money that means to me is on the line. And they asks me to submit to random drug testing that would require hair smapls be plucked from my sack be taken. As long as they were gonna be subjected to the same testing, I'd comply. Would I like it? No. Would I think it was bull****? Absolutely. Would it affect my personal feelings towards the person? I'm sure it would. But if I were investing in something that is gonna benefit me in the future, I'd comply without batting an eye. And I would do that because I'm clean.
