It is the real reason you idiot.
You only agreed to 14 days AFTER Floyd said he withdrew that offer.
What a fool.

His win over Mosley changed the circumstances regarding the mega fight. He originally wanted OST but Pacquiao kept crying about a weakness so he gave way and offered a two week cut off.
Again, things have changed after Mayweather's win over Mosley.
And it still doesnt make sense if Floyd really wants the fight to happen.
If he says he is all about money than he should fight him with a 14 day cut off. It was ok before, it should be ok now if he really wants the fight.

floyd should do the 14 day cut off but 60/40 if manny wants 50/50 then he got to do ost up until day of fight. manny cant have everything his way. specially when floyd is the one bringing the money in. and i dont think their should be a 50/50 split when floyd made more than 3 times as much money as manny did. manny taken a 60/40 spit would still generate more money for him than all his fights. and manny only agreeing to 14 day because all roads lead to floyd and and know he cant hardball floyd like he did hatton and oscar. once again he wants to agree to something when he is ready and floyd is suppose to jump? no those were floyd terms then bending backwards to make it happen. that dont mean it will happen again.

Pacquiao is now the upper level on this one. He's shutting up the Mayweathers.
Would they fight the Pacman?

MANILA (AFP) – Manny Pacquiao has rekindled hopes for a dream fight with Floyd Mayweather Jnr after agreeing to a tough drug-test demand by his only serious rival for the title of the world's best pound-for pound boxer.
Negotiations for the bout fell through earlier this year when the American Mayweather insisted on Olympic-style random drug testing, which the Filipino seven-time world champion rejected as too intrusive.
But Pacquiao, fresh from winning a seat in the Philippine Congress, told local television network ABS-CBN he was now ready to agree to the blood tests, ABS-CBN said on its website.
"I have agreed to it, but they should not draw too much blood. They should only take what is necessary for the drug test," Pacquiao, who has said he does not like letting blood close to his fights, told the station.
"Fourteen days," Pacquiao added, stating the time limit for blood to be taken before the fight.
In the run-up to the aborted March bout, Mayweather called for repeated blood testing up to the day of the fight. Pacquiao, who has never failed a doping test, wanted a 30-day cut-off.
Mayweather later said he agreed to a 14-day cut-off but that Pacquiao would not accept it.
The two rivals signed up to fight other opponents, Pacquiao beating Ghana's Joshua Clottey and Mayweather defeating Shane Mosley.
Pacquiao, the reigning World Boxing Organisation welterweight champion, told ABS-CBN he wanted to find out whether the anti-doping controversy was the real reason Mayweather had refused to fight him in March.
"So he will no longer have a reason (not to fight)," Pacquiao said. "Let's see if that is really the reason," he added.
Pacquiao said he had earlier rejected Mayweather?s demands because they were not required by professional boxing rules. Fighters should not meddle, he added.
"I'm a boxer, so why should I interfere with the work of the commission. That's the reason commissions are there, so they can set the rules."
US promoter Bob Arum told the Manila Standard newspaper earlier this month the clash, which would likely generate one of the biggest purses and television audiences in boxing history, could take place on November 13 in Texas or Las Vegas.
Team Mayweather offered a 14 day cut-off which Pacquiao did not want. That was a compromise to try and make the fight happen and Pacquiao refused. For that he can only blame himself, Since then Team Mayweather has repeatedly said there will no cut-off date to ensure a level playing field. If there is a cut-off date then that means that Pacquiao would still be able to cheat because he would know when he would and wouldnt be tested. That's not random testing, Random testing is being tested reguarly and not knowing when it will happen. If there is tests on scheduled dates then Pacquiao would be able to take drugs after the cut-off point and get an advantage in the fight. I say Pacquiao because we already know Floyd a is clean athlete. You shouldnt be allowed advantages with a cut-off point. Floyd gets no advantages with random olympic style drug testing. It's just something to help clean up sports.Last edited by JK1700; 05-23-2010, 04:03 AM.
