Izzy has way too much scar tissue to continue man. Those eyes are never going to heal properly. Too tough for his own good.

yep hes one of my favorites to watch his eyes are getting cut way to easily now he didnt look great in his last fight i think he should call it a career

What is funny though, in the first round, I thought it was Marquez who looked old in there. He seemed to be pushing his punches way too much. I thought as soon as Izzy warms up, he will be in trouble.

Marquez started letting his hands go much better in the second though and Izzy's eyes just threaded apart.

Fight should have been 'No Contest'

Look, maybe Vazquez is a shot fighter however he was headbutted above both eyes which opened the cuts. Look at the first round, you see a clash of heads and then a spot of blood over Izzy's left eye. Then a few seconds later, a huge right lands and blood spurts everywhere. Also, the replay clearly showed the right eye cut was caused by a butt as well. I am happy for Marquez (I like both fighters) but I look at this fight as a 'no contest' and instant replay proves that was the true result....

Exactly the way I saw it.

Marquez butted both eyes then capitalized on the carnage.

Either way, Vasquez is done. Not because he's necessarily shot, but his eyes can't take anymore or he'll go blind.
