Why did SSM APPEAR to be gassed after 2-3 rounds against Floyd?

Its called wasting all your energy trying to KO Floyd after Round 2.

He went wild and Floyd clowned him. He wasted alot of energy and was winded and he probably thought like most did that Floyd would lay back and box for the 3rd round. BUT.....

He came out and pressured Shane which maded Shane have to play defense and he never caught his breath.

I just dont think he was all the way gassed like people are tying to make it sound. He had his mouth open & breathing early in the Margarito fight but went the whole way easily. The same was in this fight except later when Floyd started wearing him down himself. Even Floyd was breathing a little after round 2. People just want to hate. Wasnt nothing specially wrong about his energy
