      Combination of
      a) Turning 39 years old
      b) Inactive for 1.5 years

Therefore Mosley was gassed early on, had a hard time pulling the trigger and didn't look like the Mosley we knew..... yes, fighting Floyd didn't help things either.

By the way, you need to create openings. Mosley was not trying to create any openings as he kept punching one shot at a time.

Have you ever put on a pair of boxing gloves in your life? When you go all out trying to KO someone you're fighting at a higher pace so naturally you will need added time to recover. The same applies with pretty much any sport when you accelerate the standard pace for a moment, you need recovery time.

Floyd never allowed him to get set. It's not that it took everything out of Shane it's that he was never given the opportunity to compose himself.

What I don't understand is how mosley was gassed after having landed good effective punches, I mean.... you gass if you throw n miss but he was landing, even the few shots that were blocked still partially landed. But at the end of the round it was Mosley who was gassed n Floyd who was still fresh, doesn't make any damn sense, somethings up.

It's combination of things, inactivity, age, and the possibility that he over trained...especially considering he went right back into the grind not but a couple weeks out after the Berto fight was canceled...and the Mayweather fight was made... I don't think Mosley had enough time to let his body recuperate enough to be 100% for the Mayweather bout. When you add those 3 factors into the equation...those are good possibilities of way he gassed so quickly.

I train 4x a week thanks. Im not going to believe he was tired after just 2 rounds because he landed a flush shot. It was a combination of being old, having wayyy too much time in between fights, and fighting floyd. The inactivity between fights is what i think killed him. After a year and a half off his body forgot it was like to be in a real boxing match, and at his age it didnt help.

all of the above, clearly. I think his age and his layoff BOTH had considerable negative effects on his stamina and overall performance, but Floyd is also an exhausting guy to fight.

I couldnt believe his tank was pretty much empty after the second round though....its not even like he went for broke when he had Floyd hurt, he didnt even throw that many punches...
