To be honest what has Kahn really done to prove he is that good?

When he faces a world class fighter with acceptable power for that level of comp I will respect and regard him as world class.

He can't just do this forever against featherfisted opponents for the reason that he has a glass jaw and still be thought of as top shelf material.

what has Bradley, Alexander, David Ortiz, Maidana has proven. All of the fighters at 140 are very unproven and are green fighters.

Bradley has the best resume out of all of them and his resume still are unproven.

I actually don't credit him that much for beating Nate at all...but you can pin point out somethings that "Wow" you in his performance and he is entertaining to watch...plus he didn't get out classed by Maidana...none of the other 140 pounders went to war taking big shots like that so you can't vouch for them yet...until you see Alexander, Bradley, and Khan battered up and knocked down and do the same thing Ortiz did...so the kid lacked heart but that does not mean the skill is not there...

Wow, I think it's difficult to argue that Bradley isn't number 1 in the division right now. The rest are tough to put into any order because they're either young and on the way up or old and on the way down. Great, deep division that it is, the rest are not exactly prime.

With no real sense of confidence I'd go for:

Tim Bradley
Ricky Hatton
Devon Alexander
Amir Khan
Juan Urango
Marcos Maidana
Paulie Malignaggi
Victor Ortiz

Ricky looks like he is set to slide down the list through inactivity, I'd favour Devon and Khan to beat him quite easily if they did fight, although I would actually fancy Ricky to beat Bradley. That's what makes these lists so tough. Obviously Maidana and Ortiz could move right up that list in their next fight or two, they both offer plenty but for now I have them a little off the pace in the overall 140lb order of merit.

At the very least that they can take a solid punch and are not avoiding fighters just because they hit hard.

He got battered and he quit. If Ortiz continued ang got KO'ed, i would him credit but he quit. Yeah he got skills but GBP set his last 2 fights to make him look good. Bradley, Khan, and Alexander at least beat top 10 fighters. While its a good win over Nate, its not really something to bragg about. Its not about the skills, its who you defeat.

Well for one Khan's resume is better than Devon Alexander's.
